Bob, the owner, is a really great guy who has an awesome personality and who originally brought these creatures to life. Here's what is quoted from TMKD website: "We have been hand crafting our Woodbaby Puppets for more than 20 years. Since 1983, we have toiled diligently to bring to the world the finest puppets only time and experience can achieve. In our studios, wondrous ideas for new puppets are being developed to join the ever-growing Woodbaby family. Our Puppets are a treat to experience first hand. They become a part of your life as few things can: a friend, confidant, protector and a child all rolled into one magnificent creature!

We create our Woodbaby fantasy puppets based on folklore, legends and myths. Our puppets are adoptable companions. Each of our Woodbaby Puppets is a hand made work or art! They come from the genre “Woodbaby”, and we would rather have them
“adopted” as opposed to “sold.”"

You can buy these wonderful creatures at the local Rennisance Faires all around the US. They are made from wood and other various products that are found in the US.

Feel free to take a look at TMKD's webpage and you'll notice that you can customize your very own woodbaby. Al the members at LJ assure you that they are very happy being proud parents of woodbabies.

Please bear in mind that we're a new community and we're going through the "under construction" phase at this point in time.

i baught my grypon (gorgein)woodbaby about 5 years ago and he is still handsome as the day he came to the house the first day. but he needs a dragon friend now and looking to get him another woodbaby

Cool. I just got my first Woodbaby today. He's a baby dragon. I named him Jinx. I plan on getting a piccy up as soon as I can get batteries for my camera >.O
